First Alliance Credit Union celebrated their annual All for One community give back day on Monday, October 14th. Since 2015 First Alliance Credit Union has closed its branches on Indigenous People’s Day so their staff can make a positive impact for local organizations that provide service in the Rochester area community.

Each year on this special day, First Alliance Credit Union serves a variety of organizations through volunteering time and donating funds or other resources. This year, during All for One Day, the credit union staff collectively volunteered over 136 hours at seven local non-profits, with several remote team members also participating in their own communities.

Family Service Rochester: Team member participated in the Neighbors Helping Neighbors senior independence program by completing seasonal yard work.

Jeremiah Program: Team members spent time deep cleaning toys ahead of the cold season for the on-site preschool.

Boys and Girls Club: Team members assisted in organizing items and leading activities with club members.

Project Legacy: Team members put together back-to-school care packages and wrote encouraging notes for college students in their program.

Women’s Shelter & Support Center: Team members helped organize donated items to be distributed to incoming families.

Hope Coalition: Team members assembled care packages full of household supplies for incoming families.

Alternative Learning Center: Team members prepared the school vegetable garden for the fall and winter seasons.

“First Alliance Credit Union is driven by our powerful mission, where our unwavering commitment to giving back to the community lies at the core. All for One Day represents the true essence of our mission, vision, and values. It’s a day where we unite as one to support for our community.” explained Brent Rempe, President/CEO of First Alliance Credit Union.

First Alliance Credit Union’s All for One Day initiative is part of a larger state-wide credit union event, coordinated by the Minnesota Credit Union Network called CU Forward Day, in which over 60 credit unions participate in spreading kindness across the state.

The moniker All for One Day originated from the credit union’s tagline, All for One, which means “ALL we do is FOR every ONE of our members, that means you!"
