A lot of companies these days have a Facebook page, and they use them in a variety of different ways. First Alliance Credit Union also has a Facebook page, because its a different and often fun way to interact with our membership. Here are the 5 main reasons why you should like First Alliance Credit Union on Facebook:

##### Why You Should Like Us on Facebook: Reason #1

Facebook is a fast and easy way to reach out to a lot of people at one time. **We use Facebook a lot to communicate important information.** For example, if we end up closing because of snow, we post it on Facebook. During the [Equifax data breach](https://www.firstalliancecu.com/blog/important-information-about-the-equifax-data-breach), it was the fastest and easiest way to provide important information and tips to members. In the event of a disaster, we would use Facebook to reach as many members as we possibly could. We have a better chance of reaching our members on Facebook than we do via our website or even e-mail.

**We play trivia.** That's right. We play trivia every Monday. You have the opportunity to win a Kwik Trip gift card. And during our 85th Anniversary, there will be opportunities to win an $85.00 gift card. We occasionally give away tickets to local events too, like Rochester On Tap!

##### Why You Should Like us on Facebook: Reason #3

You can keep up to date with our staff and what's happening at the credit union. **We love to post pictures** of how we're volunteering in our communities, how we're [supporting various local organizations](https://www.firstalliancecu.com/blog/were-raising-funds-for-the-rochester-womens-shelter) and how we're just plain having fun at work. Since you are a member-owner, we want to make sure you know what's happening at the credit union!
