What is the application process?
Step 1: Submit Your Application
Find a role that sounds like a good fit on our Careers page and submit your application online.Step 2: Application Review
Our HR team will review your application and resume. If your experience and background look like they could be a good fit for the role, we'll invite you to move forward to the next step.Step 3: One-Way Video Interview
You'll receive a link to complete a short, recorded video interview. You'll be presented with a few pre-recorded questions and record your responses on your own time, within the timeframe provided. There is no live interviewer during this step. Once you're finished, our HR team will personally review your responses.Step 4: Interview Review
Our HR team reviews each completed one-way video interview. Based on your responses and overall fit for the opportunity, we'll determine which candidates move forward to the live interview stage.Step 5: In-Person Interview
Candidates who move forward will meet in person with HR and the hiring manager. Depending on the position, there may be an additional conversation or interview as part of the process.We know waiting to hear back can be stressful. Our HR team works to keep candidates updated throughout the process, so you'll know where things stand and what to expect next.

Do I need banking experience to work here?
Not always. Some roles may require specific financial experience, but for many positions, we look at the experience and skills you bring from other industries too. Things like customer service, sales, relationship building, leadership, and problem-solving can all translate well to a career at First Alliance.
More than anything, we're looking for people who fit our culture and share how we approach serving our members and each other. We can teach the technical side of the job, but qualities like being engaged, caring about people, and wanting to make a difference are what really matter to us. Meet Some of Your Future Co-Workers
Chris joined First Alliance in November 2024 and works behind the scenes supporting marketing, lending, accounting, and compliance. No two days look the same, and that's exactly what keeps the job interesting. Building tools and reports that help coworkers save time and make smarter decisions is what makes the work feel worthwhile. Outside the office, you'll find Chris playing sports, traveling, or spending time with friends and family, plus a standing love for build your own pizza. Asked to sum up First Alliance in one word, Chris said it without hesitation: community. From day one, that sense of showing up for each other and our members has stood out.
Devang joined First Alliance in 2025 and has been making an impact ever since. What keeps him going? Seeing members get a real second chance at a stronger financial future. Outside the office, he's helping people find their dream homes as a realtor and staying active on the golf course, volleyball court, and tennis court. He'd describe First Alliance in one word: benevolent.
