There has been a lot of media coverage lately regarding a national coin shortage in our country and yes, it is true. There is also quite a bit of misinformation about what this actually means for you, our member.

Since we've received a lot of member questions about how this affects First Alliance Credit Union, we put together FAQs about withdrawing and depositing coins at our locations.

Q: Can I Still Get Coins at First Alliance?

Yes. We have plenty of coins available for our members. If you need a roll of quarters for laundry, we have that. Simply visit the drive-ups of our SE Rochester, NE Rochester, or Byron branches during normal drive-up hours to request the coins you'd like to withdraw.

Q: What If I Need More Coin Than a Few Rolls of Quarters?

If you need more than 4 rolls of coin, we ask that you contact us first and let us know how much coin you're planning to withdraw. We will do our best to provide you the coins you need in a timely manner.
