How is the First Alliance Drive-Through Experience Different?

When you need to get some banking done quickly and efficiently, drive-through banking is the way to go. Instead of spending time trudging to a bank lobby from your car in the depths of a Minnesota winter, you can withdraw or deposit money and even make a payment on your loan without having to leave your car.

At First Alliance Credit Union, though, we’ve taken some steps to make the drive-through banking experience a little different.

You can Access Your Account 24/7

The biggest difference you’ll notice when going through the drive-through at First Alliance Credit Union is that you can access your account 24/7 thanks to the Advisor Supported Kiosks we have at all of our branches that have drive-through lanes.

Drive-through Advisor Supported KioskOnce you’ve accessed your account, you’ll be able to perform several transactions, including:

  • Depositing up to 50 checks
  • Depositing up to 50 bills of cash
  • Make a deposit and get cash back from your deposit
  • Withdraw up to $500 in cash
  • Transfer money between accounts
  • Review your account balances

If that weren’t enough, you can also get a Kiosk Advisor’s help Monday through Friday 7:30 am to 6:00 PM and Saturdays 8:00 AM to Noon. They can help you use the kiosk to make a payment on a loan or safe deposit box, split a deposit across multiple accounts, and even transfer money to another First Alliance member’s account.

No Pneumatic Tubes

Bank teller with a pneumatic tube.As a result of First Alliance having Advisor Supported Kiosks installed at every branch that has drive-through service, you might also note that First Alliance’s drive-through banking doesn’t have any pneumatic tubes. If you see this as a disadvantage, we understand, since there is something kind of fun about seeing the plastic capsule shoot up the tube and down into the member advisor’s station.

Having said that, though, the lack of pneumatic tubes also means you don’t have to wait for a member advisor to deposit a check for you or access your account to make sure you have enough funds to withdraw. You can do that yourself, and that means you can get generally get your banking done faster than you would at other financial institutions.

You can get Coffee

Admittedly, this one only applies to our Commerce Drive branch, but it’s still worth mentioning. Since Moka has a coffee shop in our Commerce Drive branch, you can get coffee at their drive-through before doing your drive-through banking at First Alliance.

As an added bonus, Moka also offers breakfast sandwiches made by Great Harvest Bread Company, which also has a location in our Commerce Drive branch. Doing your banking with a fresh cup of coffee and a breakfast sandwich is pretty enjoyable and highly recommended.

It's worth pointing out that at our Stewartville branch you can also get some coffee and breakfast items from the Cabin Coffee right next door.
