By now, you may have heard about the cutting-edge Advisor Supported Kiosks in our brand-new branch on Commerce Drive, called First Alliance Commons. You might have also heard that the Advisor Supported Kiosks are going to change the way you do your banking.

However, you might not know that these kiosks have some benefits that may not be immediately obvious the first time you use them. However, the more you use the Advisor Supported Kiosks, the clearer the benefits will be.

Explore the Kiosk

Benefit 1: Empowers You Financially

An Advisor Supported Kiosk lets you perform several transactions on your own, including depositing checks and cash, withdrawing up to $500 of cash in denominations of your choice without needing a Kiosk Advisor and even transferring money between your accounts. This gives you direct control over your finances, which can be very empowering.

Once you feel like you’re controlling your finances instead of being controlled by them, you’ll probably want to do more with your money. You might decide to improve your savings plan or update your budget. You might even feel empowered enough to get a personal line of credit to help you finance that big new project you’ve always wanted to do, secure in the knowledge you have a firm enough grip on your finances to use it to your advantage.

Benefit 2: Lowers Your Stress Level

Most of the time, running errands is a hassle, especially during your lunch break. You have to stop at different buildings, complete different tasks and try to get everything done in under an hour.

The Advisor Supported Kiosks, and First Alliance Commons itself, gets rid of a lot of that hassle. The entire facility has been designed to give people not just a personalized experience, but a convenient one. If you just need to get some banking done, you can use the drive-up Kiosks to perform your transactions. If you want some breakfast or lunch, you have some great options courtesy of Moka and Great Harvest instead of having to visit yet another location.

The result of all this is that you’re likely going to be less rushed, and that means less stress in your life.

Benefit 3: Helps You be More Productive

While most financial institutions have set hours of business, the Advisor Supported Kiosks are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This means you can access your account at any time if you need to perform basic transactions. (If you need human assistance, the Kiosk Advisors are available between 7:30 am and 6 pm from Monday through Friday and 8 am to 12 pm on Saturday.)

This means that you don’t need to be constrained by the normal banking hours. If you need to withdraw or deposit some money but have to work overtime, you won’t have to worry about when the branch closes. If you work second or third shift, you can still access your account instead of having to wait until the branch opens.

When you can access your account outside of normal banking hours, you can better arrange your schedule to suit you and get done what you need to get done. That translates into greater productivity.

Benefit 4: Aids in Social Distancing

Thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic, everyone is worried about getting sick. You have to make sure you aren’t accidentally exposed to someone who’s sick, as well as touching an item they’ve touched. This includes money, which picks up a lot of germs even when there isn't a pandemic going around.

While the Advisor Supported Kiosks can’t completely eradicate the risk of exposure, they can reduce it. The kiosks are an ideal way to practice social distancing, and our team is diligent at keeping our surfaces clean.
