Mobile Wallets are convenient way to securely make purchases at stores, as well as online and through some apps. First Alliance Credit Union’s debit and credit cards are compatible with Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Samsung Pay!

Mobile Wallets are Secure. Your card information isn't stored on your device or shared when you pay; this keeps your information safe at the sales terminal and online.

Mobile Wallets are Convenient. Make easy and secure purchases from a variety of compatible devices anywhere you see the contactless payment icon. Checking out is as simple as placing your finger on Touch ID with Apple Pay or gently touching your phone to terminal with Google and Samsung Pay.

Apple Pay at First Alliance

How to Pay:

To pay, just hold your eligible device near the contactless reader with your finger on Touch ID. You don’t even have to look at the screen to know your payment information was successfully sent. A subtle vibration and beep let you know. In apps, tap the “Buy with Apple Pay” button, verify your information, and then place your finger on Touch ID to complete the purchase.

You can pay anywhere Apple Pay contactless payments are accepted. You can also make purchases within participating apps, with more stores and apps to come!

How to Connect Your First Alliance Card to Apple Pay:

1) Go to "Settings"
2) Open "Wallet & Apple Pay"
3) Locate the "Transaction Defaults" header
4) Select your First Alliance Credit Union debit or credit card as your "Default Card"

Google Pay at First Alliance

How to Pay:

You don't have to open the Android Pay app to make a purchase with your phone! Just follow these steps:

  1. Wake up and unlock your phone.
  2. Hold the back of your phone against the contactless payment terminal.
  3. If prompted, choose "Credit" regardless of your type of card.
  4. For debit card transactions, you may have to enter your PIN.

How to Hold Your Phone:

When you’re ready to pay, it’s important to hold your phone the right way. Here’s how to use “tap and pay”:

  1. Make sure you’re holding the back of your device against the terminal.
  2. Hold the device very close to the terminal. You may need to hold it there for a couple of seconds.
  3. Look for the green check mark to appear on your device.

How to Connect Your First Alliance Card to Google Pay:

The first card you add to Android Pay is automatically set as your default card. When you pay using Android Pay, your default card is automatically charged.

If your First Alliance card was not the first card you have added to Android Pay, you can follow these easy steps to change your default card to your First Alliance card:

  1. Open the Android Pay app.
  2. Tap the First Alliance card you want to make your default card.
  3. Tap “Set as default card”

Samsung Pay at First Alliance

How to Pay:

  1. To access your Favorite Cards, swipe up from the bottom of the screen.  
  2. Swipe to the desired card  
  3. To verify your identity, place your finger on the Home button.  
  4. To make the payment, place the back of your device on the card reader of the payment terminal.

How to Set Your First Alliance Card as Default for Samsung Pay:

Samsung Pay does not have a default card option; rather it will display the most recently used card at the top of your Favorite Cards list. The more you use your First Alliance card through Samsung Pay the easier it will be to access it for each following purchase.
